At Age 80 Sandy C. Is More Productive Than Ever

She explains, “When I saw Balance of Nature, I liked the fact that you always used real customers. . . . But what impacted me most about the commercial for Balance of Nature—that I saw before I signed up—was how the ingredients are processed that really made my eyes open, and the fact that you do it in dim light and in cool temperatures.”

“Aging is inevitable but getting old doesn’t have to be, and I think that’s really important.” —Sandy C.

_________

Sandy C. has written multiple books, two on holistic healing. She is very passionate about staying healthy, so she makes sure to eat well, get plenty of sleep, keep her stress low, and have an optimistic point of view.

Aging Doesn’t Have to Mean Growing Old

Sandy says even at age 80, she hasn’t slowed down a single bit. “In fact, I’m more productive than ever, and last year I joined a gym.”

“I’m still a prolific writer. I write weekly, you know, on Substacks. I have published three books in the last three years. So I guess for somebody my age that’s probably more than you’d get out of a lot of 50-year-olds these days,” she shares. “You know, now that I’ve turned 80, I’ve come to one major conclusion in life and that’s that aging is inevitable, but growing old doesn’t have to be.”

Sandy’s Life’s Work

Sandy has made it her life’s work to learn more about what it takes to stay strong and healthy. She’s found one of the necessities is proper nutrition, which is where many fall flat.

“I mean, we’re too busy to do it right,” Sandy shares. “And for those of us who can’t be perfect with the vegetables and the fruits . . . there are several things we can do. . . . Proper nutrients is one thing, lots of sleep is another, and learning how to let go of stress—which I did decades ago.”

Sandy says in her books on holistic healing, she writes about her personal experience and journey as opposed to recounting experiences of people she knows.

“My books are process-oriented in terms of holistic healing, not prescriptive. So, I help educate people as to the things they can do to empower themselves to good health, and that’s why nutrition, of course, is one of the key elements,” she shares.

To empower yourself, Sandy says you have two choices: either be a victim or be a fighter. Try things and let your body be the barometer.

“Empowered healing is part of what I teach people. So holistic healing is a process in which you utilize your entire body: the mental, the emotional, the physical, and the spiritual,” explains Sandy.

In terms of exercise, Sandy is fond of walking. “Being a writer, one has a tendency to live a sedentary life,” she says. “And so being mobile and being flexible and getting a little exercise is critical. Walking, therefore, is very important to me.”

Sandy adds that, with being a busy writer, eating right isn’t always easy.

Balance of Nature Is an Easy Way to Get a Variety of Fruit and Vegetable Ingredients

Sandy says she doesn’t think any of us are perfect at getting a variety of fruit and vegetable ingredients every day.

Sandy writes pretty often, having published three books in the last three years. She says it can be very easy to get caught up in that routine and simply forget to eat—let alone eat the right things.

“Balance of Nature has made it, for me, much easier. . . . I love the fact that it can come to me each month and then I can take it,” she says.

Sandy says after a few months of starting Balance of Nature, she received an email asking for feedback. She says she never responds to those for any product, but she was so impressed with Balance of Nature.

“I was actually delighted because Balance of Nature has been such an important part of my life. I’m thrilled to be able to talk about it and to maybe encourage others to try Balance of Nature too,” says Sandy.

Sandy decided to try Balance of Nature after seeing the process of how the product is made.

She explains, “When I saw Balance of Nature, I liked the fact that you always used real customers. . . . But what impacted me most about the commercial for Balance of Nature—that I saw before I signed up—was how the ingredients are processed that really made my eyes open.”
