Taylor C. grew up in Southern Utah and has always had an interest in his health. “I am obsessed with my health and making the most of my body. I eat whole foods every day. I love to run, do calisthenics, play golf, go climbing, play pickleball—all sorts of different sports,” he says.
Taylor also loves to spend time with his family, especially playing games or talking with them. “For the most part, my family likes to play sports, but beyond that, we like to just sit around and tell stories and laugh a lot,” he shares.

Getting Good at Golf
Taylor wasn’t able to play contact sports as a child due to a congenital heart condition, so he had to choose between tennis and golf. His dad played golf and he did not want to play tennis, so he chose golf!
He shares, “I got a set of golf clubs for Christmas—I was maybe 10 or 11 years old—and I remember just going out and hitting some golf balls. And I hit one that was just flushed—just didn’t even feel like I hit the ball. Ever since then, I’ve just been hooked. And because it was the only sport I could play, it was all I wanted to do.”
Taylor practiced hitting golf balls every day. “You hear the phrase ‘The cup’s half full or half empty,’ but in this situation, it was both. I had to see that it was half empty: I can only play one sport. But, it was also half full: I'm going to get dang good at this sport. So I practiced and I played every single day, and I got pretty dang good. I took second at state when I played in high school, and it’s just been a lifelong fun thing to play with my friends and family and get to meet new people all the time.”
Taking Care of Himself
Taylor makes sure to take care of himself, which allows him to focus on playing golf and living his life.
“I think the best part about taking care of yourself—eating the right foods and exercising daily—is that I don’t feel anything. I don’t feel the pain, I don’t feel soreness, I don’t feel tired. I think the point of doing that is so that I can just focus on playing the sport. I can focus on just living my day,” he explains. “When I take care of myself, I’m able to do things I want to do without thinking about it, and that’s the best.”
Taylor has been taking his health seriously for about 10 years. He has tried many different products to support his nutrition goals.
“I was looking not just for fruits and vegetables, but for all of the spices and fiber that your body needs. And that’s why Balance of Nature supplements have always been something that I’ve taken for the past 10 years or so.”
Taylor believes he has to take care of himself now in order to have a better quality of life in his older years. Everything he does now, like exercising and eating a whole food diet, is for the benefit of his future self.
He shares, “You might not feel great about yourself by the time you’re 60, and that’s because you didn’t take care of yourself in your twenties, thirties. And doing all I do now has really set me up for my future. I’m trying to serve my future self as much as possible by exercising every day, eating whole foods as much as I possibly can, staying away from preservatives, and staying away from overly processed foods. Those types of things will keep me feeling like this for as long as possible.”
Maintaining His Healthy Habits
Everything Taylor does, he does because he wants to continue feeling good.
For one, he exercises daily. “I've just gotten into the habit of waking up and exercising—and those exercises are pretty much the same things every single day, or just on rotation. And it makes it pretty easy to follow. I make it as easy as possible to do the things I know I need to do in order to live the kind of life I want.”
Taylor also takes what he eats very seriously.
He shares, “I typically have my breakfast, lunch, and dinners completely scheduled out. For the most part, all of my meals are well thought-out. They cover as many bases as I possibly can, and I try to eat as wide a variety of fruits and vegetables as I can: cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens, all the other types of vegetables, whole grains, and berries. I try to include these 10 to 12 different types of foods every single day.”
Taylor takes Balance of Nature supplements to help him get more variety easily.
“So I’m exercising every day, eating whole foods every day, taking Balance of Nature supplements, and those types of things are really going to make me feel the way I do now for as long as possible.”
For someone who’s just getting started on their health journey, Taylor advises going all in:
“I feel like if people want to engage with their health, they want to get serious about it. I think becoming obsessed about that is one of the best steps because then you’ll constantly be learning. If you’re obsessed with it, you know, trying to have a healthy body, you’re going to learn as much as you can. You’re going to compare opinions, contrast different points of views, and try to find the silver lining for your own body. And so, if somebody’s just taking their first steps into their health journey, I would say you have to become more obsessed with just how it all works and how it can impact your body.”
Taylor wants to maintain his health for as long as possible. He shares, “I think there’s a difference between lifespan and health span. You know, some people will live for 100 years, but they only live healthy for maybe 65 of those years. And I want my health span to be just as long as my lifespan. And I know that doing it now will affect how long that health span will be.”
He Likes Balance of Nature Supplements Best
