Liberty Village will celebrate its Phase One Opening on Saturday, September 13, 2025! The event begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:00 p.m., followed by an open house until 7:00 p.m. and a finale celebration at 7:30 p.m. Guests can join the festivities at 2250 West Liberty Way in Hurricane, Utah.
Set on 32 acres, Liberty Village will be a place for students, families, and community groups to learn and experience history with immersive, educational experiences inspired by freedom, learning, and community involvement. There will be opportunities to engage in principle-based activities that help explore the ideas that shaped America: liberty, justice, work ethic, and civic virtue. Individuals can interact with faithfully recreated colonial settings and participate in educational programs.
The mission of Liberty Village is to ignite a passion for liberty through entertaining education and experiences inspired by the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. CEO of Balance of Nature Lex Howard launched a philanthropic initiative in 2021 to broaden the company’s community outreach and charitable contributions. His vision was to promote patriotic causes and foster civic-mindedness, leading to the founding of United We Pledge and the development of Liberty Village. A generous $32 million in donations has helped transform Liberty Village from a vision into a reality.

A number of programs are available at Liberty Village to bring America’s founding ideals to life. No appointment is needed to participate in the free Liberty Quest, a self-guided tour led by an AI personality of Benjamin Franklin that unlocks colonial history through games, storytelling, and digital exploration. Children aged 5 to 11 can join the Young Patriots Kids Club for $15 per child to enjoy colonial crafts, storytelling, and activities. Additional ticketed programs include the Hope of Freedom immersive experience, the First Principles Group Program for parties of 20 or more, and the Revolutionary Leadership Workshop for professionals.
More than 20 iconic historical replica buildings will be featured in the colonial-themed village alongside breathtaking outdoor spaces, such as 13 Colonies Plaza, Market Street, Early America, Minute Man Meadow, Constitution Green, and Colonial Commons. Each historical building replica will be to-scale of the original building. Entering Liberty Village to visit the hands-on, live history experiences is free and family-friendly.
